A free graduate careers event by STEM Women
On Wednesday 16th June, STEM Women are hosting a UK-wide graduate careers event for people who identify as female and are interested in starting a career in the STEM industry.
The online event will give attendees the opportunity to hear inspiring talks from STEM employers, ask their questions during panel discussions and Q&A sessions, apply for exclusive opportunities and network live with employers.
Confirmed exhibitors so far include Adobe, Air Liquide, Alacrity, Amazon, KPMG, LCP, London Business School and Virgin Media, with many more to be announced.
For years women have been underrepresented in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) university courses and occupations. According to a WISE report by STEM Women, from 2019 to 2020 just 24% of the UK STEM workforce was made up of women.
