The Symposium “WOMEN+”, the 1st international symposium focusing on Greek women scientists, is starting today!

The Symposium “WOMEN+”, the first international symposium focusing on Greek women scientists, is starting today!

The symposium is organised by four groups (Greek Women in STEM, R.E.A.L. Science, Lean in Greece: Women in Tech, Greek Girls Code) with purely voluntary action, that joined forces in order to highlight the work of Greek women working in the STEM sector.

Through interactive talks and scientific panels with scientists in biomedical sciences, physics, chemistry, engineering, technology, and related fields, they aim to promote networking and interdisciplinary collaborations, to bring together Greek scientists working in Greece and abroad but also to communicate scientific achievements to the public.

Early career scientists awards will be also delivered to exceptional women in the STEM fields. You can apply here until September 15th: https://www.gynaikesplus.com/awards

The 3-day symposium will be held online, English being the main language. Participation is free but registration is required. Participation certificates will be provided to all participants.

There is still time to register on the Symposium’s official website: https://www.gynaikesplus.com/
