Free online programming courses by Code First Girls
In May and June 2021, Code First Girls are hosting free online programming courses on three of the most in-demand coding languages in the industry; Python, JavaScript, and C#.
The CFG Massive Open Online Courses are one-off taster sessions for complete beginners who are looking for somewhere to get started. They are designed in short segments to impart technical skills, confidence or career discovery.
These free, 60-90 minute-long sessions will introduce participants to in-demand tech concepts and languages, and other key skills. Each class will have a Q&A with professional devs and the chance to connect with the CFG community.

Python Programming with Goldman Sachs
Monday, 17th May 2021 – 6:00 PM
Python programming is one of the most popular languages for beginners to learn, and this introduction course is perfect for anyone coding-curious. This course also provides the opportunity to explore coding courses with Goldman Sachs.
Javascript with DWP
Thursday 20th May 2021 – 6:00 PM
If you’re looking for your first step into the world of front-end development, Javascript is perfect and super easy. In this free class you can learn Javascript and learn about careers in the civil service at DWP.
C# with Just Eat
Wednesday, 2nd June 2021 – 6:00 PM
C# is a general-purpose, multi-paradigm programming language encompassing static typing, strong typing, lexically scoped, imperative, declarative, functional, generic, object-oriented (class-based), and component-oriented programming disciplines.
