Digital Minimalism event

How to practice digital minimalism: a different event on July 1st

Spending less time on our devices – the so-called ‘Digital Minimalism’ – and being more intentional with our screen-time sounds like a great idea, although it might be more difficult in practice.

Most of us – not only techies and developers – have to work long hours in front of laptops and tablets and spend too much time using our smartphones. So, how can we be more mindful of the time we spend in front of our computers?

Today, July 1, at 6:30pm – 8:30pm (BST), Elle Townsend, Technology Analyst at Nationwide Building Society, will share her experiences with going minimal as a software engineer, tech-lover, and social media addict, and will walk through some theory and techniques anyone can use to combat skyrocketing screen-time.

The event is free to attend and organised by Tech Nottingham.
