Bonnier Group appoints new CEO

Stina Andersson has been appointed managing director of Swedish publishing group Bonnier’s mother company Bonnier Group. She is presently Chief Operating Officer at industrial group Axel Johnson. Bonnier group is the holding company for the largest Nordic media company.

She is taking up her new position on September 1 succeeding Erik Haegerstrand who is nominated to be elected chairman of the board after Bengt Braun who, after 32 years on the board, has informed he is not a candidate for re-election.

Stina Andersson has earlier been with telecom Tele2 as head of strategy and development and with investment company Kinnevik working with investments and strategy.

Bonnier is based in Stockholm and has operations in 12 countries. It is wholly owned by the Bonnier family.
