Media use of AI

Majority believe AI will eventually fully control news media

56% in a survey believe that artificial intelligence eventually will fully control the news media including what they report and the questions they ask sources. 53% say they are comfortable with media using AI but close to 93%, at least somewhat, fear that future news reporting could mostly be created with AI technology, according to a US study by San Francisco-based marketing firm Bospar.

The survey says 79% are anxious about security and believe that journalists risk compromising their sources based on the questions they ask ChatGPT.
