Majority tells Musk to go as head of Twitter

The people have spoken, Twitter-owner Elon Musk said when he after a vote among Twitter users gave Donald Trump back his account. Now the people have spoken again. 57.5% said Musk should step down from being head of the social media platform when he asked them. When launching the poll, Musk said he would abide the result.

It can not be excluded that Musk himself is relieved. Two months ago, he bought Twitter for the impressive sum of US 44 billion and his management can in best case be described as creative chaos.

Moonshot.News thinks his basic problem was that he did not show enough respect for the editorial part of the job. Musk described himself as a free speech absolutist but closed journalists’ accounts when they wrote about his private jet. He started making policy rules by asking Twitter users to vote and advertisers put ads on hold waiting to see what would happen.
