President of Reuters news and media leaving the company
Reuters president of news and media operations, Michael Friedenberg, has announced he is leaving the company in December after three years.
In a message to staff he said that he and Thomson Reuters CEO, Steve Hasker, will ”inform our customers that our commitment to serving them while we initiate an internal and external search for a leader will not waver – and neither does my belief in you”, website thebaron.info reported.
”He gave no reason for leaving but said the time is right to pass on the baton – and allow a smooth transition – “with Reuters firmly on the front foot”.
