Twitter announcing new features
Twitter announced plans for new features and said the company will double its revenue by 2023. CEO Jack Dorsey told an investors conference that the company will build more ways for people to have conversations. This includes an audio-only talk through its new Spaces feature and longer-form content using Revue, the newsletter service that Twitter recently bought.
To encourage audience-building, Twitter will let users subscribe to accounts and pay for content through a “super follow” feature.
The company is also investigating creating groups for particular interests called Communities.
Dorsey said Twitter aims to have annual revenue of at least $7.5 billion by the end of 2023.
