Al-Jazeera reporter killed
Al-Jazeera Arabic reporter Shireen Abu Akleh has been fatally shot in the head while covering an Israeli army operation in the West Bank town of Jenin, the Committee to Protect Journalists reports. Al-Jazeera producer Ali al-Samoudi was also shot and injured while working in the same area. In a video from the shooting posted by Al-Jazeera on Twitter, Abu Akleh is seen wearing a vest marked “Press”.
NFT business on Instagram
Instagram is testing a digital collectibles service where creators and collectors can share NFTs they have created or bought. Users can connect a digital wallet and once connected, creators and collectors can choose which NFTs from their wallet they would like to share. The creator and collector can be automatically attributed in the digital collectible post (subject to their privacy settings).

No more iPod
Apple will stop making its music player, the iPod Touch, launched in 2001 as a revolutionary way of carrying music in your pocket but now overtaken by mobile phones. The first iPod could store 1 000 tracks. Apple streaming service for phones etc now offers more than 90 million songs.
The iPod Touch was designed by the same team that later invented the iPhone, which quickly overshadowed the iPod. The iPod was last updated in 2019.
