Girls in Technology’s Mentor Protégé Program open for applications
Girls in Technology has announced that the registration process for mentors in its 2021-2022 Girls in Technology (GIT) Mentor Protégé (MP) Program, starting in October, is now open.
GIT is seeking women in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), from early to late career, to mentor the next generation of girls towards successful STEM careers. The program is designed to engage, educate, and inspire high school girls (grades 9-12) on the vast array of opportunities available in the fields of STEM.
High-school girls will connect with each other and professional women through video-conference meetings and events offered using Zoom and other technologies.
The MP Program will consist of five evening sessions, each lasting 90 minutes. The agenda typically includes networking, a speaker/panel experience and mentoring on topics such as STEM Careers.
The Mentor-Protégé sessions are held weeknight evenings, no more than once a month from October to March.

Girls in Technology (GIT) is led by an all-volunteer committee of Women in Technology (WIT) members who are dedicated to initiating programs designed to excite, inspire, create awareness and educate girls in grades 6 through 12 about the vast array of career opportunities in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).
