The economic gains of a gender-neutral labor market – online event

The economic gains of a gender-neutral labor market and the need for a better and more equal social contract will be discussed during an online event hosted by the Oliver Wyman Forum and the 30% Club.

The organisers, criticising the model where women look after the young and the old for free, which is unsustainable as more women are educated and in paid work, will look into the economic gains of a truly gender-neutral labor market and how childcare is crucial to unlocking them. Engaging mothers and fathers, as well as a strong role for governments and businesses are all a critical part of the puzzle.
