Artificial Intelligence will within a decade transform digital advertising but privacy concerns may impede progress. Four emerging technologies – AI for marketing, emotion AI, influence engineering, and generative AI – will have transformational impact on digital ads, according report marketing and research company Gartner.
The streaming entertainment business boomed during the pandemic but streaming giants are now adjusting strategies. Netflix recently changed its policy introducing a budget subscription version. Warner Brothers Discovery has now announced that it is changing its streaming-first model and will go more for advertising based channels and licensing of movies.
A new survey shows that only 28% of companies plan to in the near future raise wages for all employees in response to inflation. 51% of CEOs and CFOs plan to adjust salaries only for top performing employees as an employee compensation strategy. Research firm Gartner says additional survey data indicates that CEOs and CFOs are planning for heavier compensation investments in the future.
The No More Ransom Initiative, coordinating tools to unlock hostage computers, celebrates 6 years this summer. The organization was fonded by IT security companies and Europol. The No More Ransom provides keys to unlocking encrypted files as well as information on how to avoid getting infected by cyber crooks. It has grown and comprises136 free tools for 165 ransomware variants, including often mentioned Gandcrab, REvil/Sodinokibi, Maze/Egregor/Sekhmet.
