Cyber risks are top concerns for companies. Authorities from 10 countries say they have now disrupted the criminal operation of the LockBit ransomware group – one of the world’s most prolific and harmful ransomware, causing billions of euros worth of damage, according to Europol.
TikTok is a fast growing social media success story with more than 1.5 billion monthly active users. A new US study shows a minority of avid posters create the vast majority of content on the site. And most users post seldom, if at all – instead using TikTok primarily to view and consume content made by others, according to the study by Pew Research Centre.
Close to half – 48% – of the most widely used news websites across ten countries were blocking OpenAI’s crawlers at the start of the year. 24%, were blocking Google’s AI crawler, a survey by Reuters Institute shows. The global focus on generative artificial intelligence has emphasised the need for giant amounts of data to train the software.
Traditional search engine volume will drop 25% by 2026 with search marketing losing market share to AI chatbots and other virtual agents. Companies will be forced to rethink their marketing channels strategy, according to a forecast by market research firm Gartner.
