Meteorologist presents the weather with her baby in her arms

Women have been forced to be apologetic in the workplace about having family duties ever since they entered the workforce; not a very long time ago, at the beginning of the pandemic, a university professor was the first one to become viral because his kids entered his office as he was talking on camera.

By now though, working from home has fortunately made the corporate world accept that professionals are humans, with a full life and not only a professional one. So, a meteorologist at CBS channel became viral for the right reasons this time: for presenting the weather, holding her three-months-old baby in her arms!

Rebecca Schuld, working from home due to COVID protocols, decided it was high time people stopped hiding their kids:

 

 

Being unapologetic for having a career and a baby is fundamental for equality at the workplace – and this only shows on camera what all women already know: how efficient they are in making everything work at the same time! (Even if it is too much and preferably they shouldn’t have to).
