The working from home trend is fading! Video conferencing company Zoom, which became a symbol for remote work during the pandemic, has joined the growing number of companies demanding staffers to get back to the office. Zoom said employees living within 80 km of a Zoom office should come in at least two days a week, according to Business Insider
There is no real increase in companies’ use of artificial intelligence despite the global focus on the possibilities with this new technology. While the use of gen AI might spur the adoption of other AI tools, we see few meaningful increases in organizations’ adoption of these technologies. The percent of organizations adopting any AI tools has held steady since 2022”, consultancy McKinsey says in a report.
People are already accepting content produced by using artificial intelligence. A majority of video users in a YouTube survey confirm this. “60% agree that they are open to watching content from creators that use AI to generate their content, YouTube says in its 2023 trend report.
Social media is often accused of making people feel bad. A new Oxford study shows this is not true. “Despite popular claims about the impact of social media on well-being, the Oxford Internet Institute research found ‘no evidence’ Facebook’s spread was consistently linked negatively to well-being – quite the opposite” , the institute says.
